Charity fireworks display in aid of GWAAC!

Please note unfortunately this event has been cancelled

With winter approaching, it isn’t long until many places across the region light up the skies with fireworks in celebration of Bonfire and Fireworks night.

This year we’re extremely excited that the Red Lion pub in Wainloade, Gloucester is holding their spectacular charity fireworks display in aid of Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).

In an idyllic location, the pub overlooks a river, making it the perfect setting to enjoy fireworks with friends and family. Aside from a stunning setting, there will also be live music, food and a bonfire, making it a truly memorable night.

Taking place on the 2nd of November, the evening promises to be a brilliant night with all ticket proceeds being donated towards our life-saving service.

Tickets: Available to purchase from the Red Lion, The Royal Exchange, The Swan and Ashleworth Post Office.

Prices: £5 for an adult, £3 a child or £15 for a family ticket.

By purchasing a ticket not only are you guaranteed a fun filled night, but you will be helping us continue to be there for people who need us the most.

Our crew attend the most critical incidents across the region by helicopter or by one of our two critical care cars. As a charity, we receive no day-to-day funding from the Government or National Lottery and need to raise over £3 million each year to stay operational. This means we rely on the generosity of our donors and supporters to keep flying.

Here at GWAAC, we are very lucky to have dedicated supporters such as the Red Lion Pub who are supporting us for the third year in a row – THANK YOU.

We are very appreciative of their efforts, raising vitals funds towards our life-saving service.

Could you help us save lives too? Find out you can support your local air ambulance.
