GWAAC reach fundraising target and purchase new air base
December 18, 2018Record number of jobs announced for GWAAC in 2018
January 15, 2019We would like to say a huge thank you to Bristol City Football legend Jacki Dziekanowski, who returned to Bristol for an evening and raised funds for us.
Jacki was reunited with dedicated fans at the 3 Lions pub in Bedminster at a special event organised by ConciergeUK. Thanks to the support of local people, the event itself raised a fantastic amount of nearly £300, and Jacki even auctioned off one of his signed football shirts for the cause.
Jacki Dziekanowski said: ‘’It was my pleasure to attend an evening supporting Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, providing a signed shirt from my days playing for Bristol City for the auction. Please continue to support this fabulous service.’’
Wayne Hadley – Director of ConciergeUK said: ‘’Coming from an aviation background, I am fully aware of the costs associated in keeping a fully operational helicopter in service. The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is a critical part of our society, providing the emergency care when needed. ConciergeUK will continue their support in helping the charity. A big thanks to former Bristol City favourite Jacki Dziekanowski and Sean Donolly from the Three Lions Pub, Bristol for hosting the event.’’
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity we have received from Jacki, Three Lions pub and all of the Bristol City Fans. We really can’t thank them enough for supporting us and it’s a fantastic sum of money raised towards our life-saving charity. Thank you to Concierge UK for arranging such a brilliant event.
