Great Western Air Ambulance Charity - proposal for a Mission Support Centre
Thanks for visiting our web page to learn more about our emerging plans for the future of our Emergency Air Operations Base, located south-east of Almondsbury village.
Following the public consultation held between 25 April and 16 May 2022, we have carefully considered all feedback and made appropriate amendments to the design. We have submitted a full planning application to South Gloucestershire Council and expect the results later in 2022.
Subject to planning permission, work will commence onsite in 2023.
Please note that this proposal will not affect the movement of our helicopter and will have no impact on the number of flights or hours of the helicopter's operation.
