Great Western Air Ambulance Charity’s Critical Care Team attend the most seriously ill or injured patients across the region, taking the skills and expertise of the emergency department in the hospital to the scene of the patient. From emergency blood transfusions to roadside amputations or treating cardiac arrests, they specialise in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine and are there for anyone that urgently needs them.
However we are a charity and can only be there for those who need us because of your help. To stay operational we need to raise over £4 million each year.
