I didn’t believe it, read letter 4 times and thought have they got the right address? I put the letter away and left it for a couple of days to see what happens and then my bank statement arrived absolutely astounded.

We operate a weekly lottery to raise funds, which is regulated by the Gambling Commission. GWAAC is licensed by the Gambling Commission. Visit gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 41913.

You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK to play or claim a prize.
All net proceeds from the lottery are donated to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. In 2024, as a percentage of the total sales, 67% went directly to the charity, 3% was paid in prizes and 30% in expenses. Draws are held each Tuesday. The lottery prizes of £1000 and 4 x £25 are currently allocated to winning combinations drawn by a random number generator, provided the player has paid to enter that particular draw. Currently, players have an approximately 1:8000 chance of winning one of those prizes, depending on the number of players in the draw.
