Pass on your unwanted items, help the environment and support our vital service.

Drop off your unwanted clothing, shoes and textiles to one of our recycling banks. Alternatively, you can donate your items to our shops for us to sell, supporting our lifesaving mission while finding a new home for your items.

You’ll be helping reduce waste from landfill and supporting GWAAC at the same time.

How

We've teamed up with Recycling Solutions to make it easy for you to donate. We receive an agreed percentage of the sale of the recycled materials and we raise over £30,000 every year from our recycling scheme.

All you need to do is drop off your unwanted items to one of our clothing banks located across the region.

Can you help us find a home for a recycling bank?

We are always looking for new homes for our textile banks. All that is needed is a suitable outdoor location and access for members of the public to donate their unwanted clothing and shoes.

The ideal locations are:

  • Shops and supermarkets
  • Town/village centre car parks
  • Community centres and village halls
  • Garden Centres
  • Pubs
  • Leisure Centres
