Giving everyone the chance to live. Every year, there are around 30,000 people in the UK who suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest. Only 8% survive. If everyone who is experiencing a cardiac arrest has early defibrillation and early CPR we could and should see survival rates jump to 74%.
Nearly a quarter of our call-outs are to patients suffering a cardiac arrest and require immediate bystander support if they are to be given their best chance of survival.
It’s why we train secondary school students in basic life support and how to use a defibrillator.
It’s why we launched a CPR pack for primary schools. It’s why we install public access defibrillators across our region.
It’s why we need your help to give everyone the chance to live.
Help equip our volunteers with everything they need to teach vital lifesaving skills in schools, workplaces, and communities across our region. Each fully stocked training kit bag enables high-quality Basic Life Support (BLS) education and helps more people gain the confidence to act in an emergency.
Every kit bag includes 10 CPR manikins, 10 mini training defibrillators, knee pads, batteries, and AirTags for secure tracking - and proudly features your company logo on the front, demonstrating your commitment to community safety.
Public access defibrillator
We will work with you to identify high-need locations within our communities, or install the defibrillator at a site of your choosing, helping to place vital emergency equipment exactly where it is needed most.
