Our Impact

We are one of the busiest air ambulances in the UK, delivering critical care and pre-hospital emergency medicine to the regions of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire.

Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) has been called to a record number of incidents in 2024. Our specialist crew responded to 2,272 people in urgent need of critical care — an increase of around 15% compared to 2023.
