Keep the 'copter flying (Folk Concert)
3inabar (live music group) have drawn together a number of well known local folk performers to put on a fundraising concert on Saturday 12th October at Ston Easton Village Hall. A folk music and song concert in aid of The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).
Ston Easton Village Hall will ring to the sound of Chas Blacker's Windfalls launching us into an evening of song, chat, laughter and that feeling that goes with entertainment by the people for the people.
Well known local character, Martin Horler, has an amusing sketch to offer, while later in the evening two lads will regale us with something from the Jake Thackery stable. All this, plus a mix of traditional songs and something from the glory days of music-hall, adds up to a good evening's entertainment.
Everyone is welcome to bring alcohol for their own consumption, however, tea and coffee will be offered during the interval.
There will also be a raffle, so please bring some cash.
