You can make our Christmas Wishes come true.
This winter our crews will face gruelling conditions, to reach people who need life-saving critical care.Last winter, one of those people was 12-year-old Logan – for his mum, Sue, it is a day she will never forget.
“Call it a mother’s intuition, but I knew something was seriously wrong. So I called 999. Within just a few minutes, Logan had lost consciousness. I began CPR… That’s when the reality of the situation hit – I remember being scared to death that I might lose him.
The Great Western Air Ambulance Charity crew who arrived were incredible. All of them buzzing around Logan, giving him lifesaving, critical care. He had to be put into an induced coma for his safety, right there on our driveway. Seeing your child in that kind of situation is every parent’s worst nightmare. It still knots my stomach when I think about it. I felt totally helpless, but I had complete faith in the crew. They calmed me down and even made Logan’s sister, Elayna, some lunch. It was little things like this that made me realise how much they care, and how hard they would fight to save Logan.”
These heroes saved my son Logan’s life. Let’s get them what they need to save even more.
With a donation from you today, we can provide our crews with the vital equipment they need do their jobs this winter. Whether it’s caring for a cardiac arrest patient in their home, or attending a road accident in the middle of nowhere, knowing they have enough of these important items means they can focus on saving lives. Please, make our Christmas wishes come true.
Any donation, big or small, will go towards ensuring our crews can continue saving lives this winter. Any donations we receive will be used wherever the need is greatest.
Thank you for your support.
