What is the Forest of Dean Half Marathon?
Brush the dirt off your trainers and take a shot at winning the British Trail Running Short Distance Championships, right on our doorstep in the Forest of Dean!
Organised by The Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean this race is a fantastic opportunity to give trail running a try, go for a PB, or even win one of the sought after TRA finisher medals! As it is an open championship you don’t need to be a TRA member, so anyone who takes part could win!
What is the course like?
This half marathon is a loop of well maintained forest trails in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The multi-terrain route will be fully signed and marshalled with water stations at approx. 5k intervals.
GWAAC are delighted to be one of the charity partners in this years run, all of the money we receive from this event will help keep our lifesaving services running so we can continue to be there for people on their worst day.
