The 2021 Bath Half Marathon physical event has been postponed from March until September. But if you’re looking for that extra motivation this spring, you still have the chance to get running to support your local air ambulance! Whether you’re a first time runner targeting the 5km, a seasoned jogger going for the 10km, or an experienced racer aiming for a half marathon PB, the Bath Half Virtual Series has something for you!
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity provide emergency critical care for the most seriously ill and injured across the region. Our Critical Care Team specialise in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine and bring the skills and expertise of an Emergency Department to the patient at the scene of an incident.
In 2020 the Critical Care Team were called to over 1,700 incidents, with the service remaining busy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are a charity and receive no day-to-day funding from the Government or National Lottery. To stay operational we need to raise over £4 million each year.
